Amazing location very close to the known attractions in the lake district, a lovely garden and the pub, restaurants and pubs were close to the hotel. Also, Blencathra Tall Hill was 3 km away.

The hotel was deluxe and the staff was helpful, it had gorgeous location to fantastic hiking. Location: the property was just next door to the known attractions in the lake district, and two lovely pubs. Also, it was not too far from Saint Mary Threlkeld Church.

The hotel was a perfect base for enjoying a tranquil area, not far from the known attractions in the Lake District and the hill. The staff was friendly and efficient and the owner too. My twin/double room was lovely and recently renovated with amazing views. The location was stunning - easy walk to everywhere I wanted to go.

Great views and welcoming host! The room had breathtaking views and was well-decorated and comfortable. We loved the convenience of the kitchenette area, allowing us to make our own food and drinks. The rooms were clean and there was a helpful information brochure with local attractions and pubs. The location was convenient for exploring hiking trails and the nearby town with its restaurants and pubs. We will definitely be coming back!
The WiFi for the TV didn't work for long, so Netflix wasn't really an option. , there was some confusion with our room assignment which resulted in us having to pack and move our belongings after settling in.
